History
NPWS had named the park area Lower Hunter National Park (Govt Gaz 26.2.99 folio 1440/1441). However Lower Hunter National Park was never assigned as a geographical name by GNB.
Description
A national park of about 2140ha in three parts near Cessnock. Formerly part of Cessnock State Forest No 874 and Aberdare State Forest No 981.
