Description
A trigonometrical station on the eastern edge of the Illawarra Range at Maddens Plains. It is about 500 m SE of Madden New Trig Station and 4.5 km NE of Sublime Point Lookout. TS10978
Origin
Leon Gilmore Treverrow (11-Aug-1940 17-Mar-1995) was a Lands Department surveyor stationed in Wollongong. He established the trig stations on colliery facilities and surrounding mountains and hills. He also saw service with the Maritime Services Board and Public Works Department and taught surveying at the Wollongong Technical College.
