Coopers Creek (RIVER), NSW Details
Description
A perennial stream rising about 2 km ESE of Doughboy Mountain. It flows generally SSE then SSW for about 45 km into Wilsons River about 3 km SW of Bexhill.
Origin
It is said that this creek was named after Alec Cooper a cedar cutter working in that part of the district in the early 1880s. (Place Names of the Tweed Brunswick and Upper Richmond Regions. 1984. p.20)
