History
In June 1997 a request to have creek renamed as `Flaggy Creek` was overturned by the Minister. In May 1998 Council proposed a renaming but this was not approved by the Board.
Description
A watercourse about 4 km long. It rises about 2 km SE of Minmi and flows generally NNE into Hexham Swamp.
Origin
The stream flows through portions 6 and 10 in the Parish of Hexham which were granted to William Charles Wentworth in 1839. (Map of the Parish of Hexham in the County of Northumberland)
