History
Little Branch Creek was called Lindsays Branch after a director of the A.A. Co. on the map prepared by J. Cross in 1828.

A watercourse about 4 km long. Rising near Viney T.S. and flowing generally NW into Little Branch Creek.
Origin
Earlier name as shown on the 1948 map of the Councty of Gloucester was Gormans Gully. At its meeting on 5 July 1976 the Board approved the name Gormans Creek.
