History
Council received a request from Mr R J Wood of the Entrance to acknowledge the McColls contribution to the community.
Description
A reserve on the eastern side of Flinders Avenue at Killarney Vale. It occupies Lot 421 of DP 27040.
Origin
This name acknowledges the contribution of John and Rose McColl to the community. Both were voluntary workers for over 40 years raising money for the Long Jetty Hospital which Mr McColl founded and other community activities. Mr McColl has passed away Mrs McColl is 81 yrs. (Wyong Council letter dated 13 November 1998)
