Description
A locality on the eastern bank of Nowendec River about 7 km NNW of Jacky Barker Hill.
Origin
Originally a half-way station for the Australian Agricultural Company on its Peel Line between Gloucester and Tamworth. In 1846 Phillip Gidley King completed a survey of the area and noted Thomas Lauries (Station manager) property as Noo-En-Doc. (Atchison 1976).
