Origin
Named after Knockrow County Fermanagh birthplace of Margaret Johnston. Margaret married Robert Johnston who first settled at Jamberoo and Robertson before moving to Newrybar and Ballina and later to Lismore. (Rich.Twd.Reg.Lib. & Rich.R.Hist.Soc. 1983).
