History
Suggested by Annie Nielson of WHaT Bush Care in response to Parramatta Councils efforts to name its reserves.
Description
A reserve in two parts located at both the eastern and western ends of a block of land bounded by Enock Place Rebecca Parade Esther Street and Goliath Avenue Winston Hills. It occupies lots 230 and 224 of DP 236997.
Origin
From 1861 - 1961 George Oakess house Casuarina House stood near this area. It was named after the casuarina she-oaks that are still found on the steep banks of the creek nearby. (Parramatta Council letter dated 19 September 1997)
