Mostly perennial stream rising on the Liverpool Range about 1 1/2 miles east by north of Towarri Mountain. It flows generally north and north west for about 35 miles into the Mooki River north of the village of Pine Ridge.

William Nowland squatted at and formed Warrah Stock Station Sir W.E. Parry visited Warrah Stock Station in 1832. (JRAHS V. 9 P.132). The run was on the stream named Warrah Creek. Thomas Parnell William Nowlan and Philip Thorley were displaced from Warrah squattage by the A.A. Cos Warrah Grant. (JRAHS V. 9 P.152.)
