Description
A pedestrian Reserve between George Street and Elizabeth Street Sydney.
Origin
After Sir James Martin an Irishman who arrived in NSW 1821 as an infant. Was a parliamentary reporter editor and studied for Bar. At 28 elected to Legislative Council unseated being without property qualifications. Re-elected. Though only a solicitor became attourney- general at 36 Premier at 43 at 53 Chief Justice. Died 1886.
