A bay within Sydney Harbour which is entered between Bottle and Glass Point and Laings Point.

Origin

Was named after Robert WatsonQuartermastermaster of H.M.SSirius. It is said that Watsons Bay was once the hunting grounds of aborigines becauseof rock carvings and smoke blackened cavedand they called it Kooti. Maritime Services BoardPort of Sydney Vo19 No2 Sept 1965.
