History
Name nominated by Neville Davis of Parramatta Councils Parks division.
Description
A reserve located at the corner of Barnetts and Oakes roads Winston Hills. It also has access to Lomond Crescent and Glasgow Street. It occupies lot 53 of DP 219495.
Origin
Arthur Barnett (.......... - ..........) purchased land in this area from the George Oakes Estate for a small farm. Barnetts Road is named after him. His family built a number of cottages in the area which were in great demand between 1890-1910. (Sargeant D A 1964 The Toongabbie Story)
