A town situated north of Connaughtmans Creek and about 32 km east north east of Cootamundra. The town is adjacent to the town of Harden.

Meaning

Probably comes from Wiradhuri murrimboola reasonably translated to two waterholes. (Appleton; 1992). Also: two canoes. (McCarthy; 1963).
