Myles Gorge (GORGE), NSW Details
Description
Bounded on the western side by the slopes of Mount Wallarra and on the eastern side by the slopes of Mount Pindari. It extends in a generally north south direction for approx. 400m with Christys Creek flowing through it. It is approx. 800m downstream from the junction of Dione Dell and Christys Creek.
Origin
Named after Myles J Dunphy originator of the Greater Blue Mountains National Park scheme 1925-30 and apparently approved in 1931.
