Description
A reserve comprising 300 hectares on the eastern escarpment of the of the Blue Mountains and is adjacent to the Nepean River. It runs along the western bank of the Nepean River from Hawkesbury Road Hawkesbury Heights south to Illingworth Road Yellow Rock.
Origin
Yellomundee was a leading aborigine who assisted Govenor Macquarie and Tench in crossing the Nepean River in his canoe.
