A peak situated on the Liverpool Range about 4 km NNE of Murrurundi Trig. Station and 3.5 km NE of Mount Gregson.

Origin

Named after Bishop Eleazar Torreggiani (dob 1830 Italy dod 1904 Armidale NSW). A Capuchin Friar then second Catholic Bishop of Armidale. Source: Archives of the Catholic Diocese of Armidale and Capuchin Franciscan Friars of Australia Pocket Calendar 1999.
