Name is used for marine management purposes.

Description

A bay on the western side of the southern section of Montague Island. The small bay has a NW aspect and is situated between the Island proper and a rock outcrop.

Origin

Site of the original jetty which served the lighthouse. The jetty was in use until 1964 when it was replaced by a jetty and crane facility in Jetty Bay.
