A watercourse about 19 km long. It rises about 6 km WSW of Yarrwin Trig Station and about 13 km NW of Buckleys Crossing. It flows generally SE by E into Greenbah Creek.
Origin
Said to have been originally named Wongabutta Creek because of the presence here of Wonga pigeons. Since corrupted to Wingabutta Creek.
