Description
A peak located on Abbott Ridge approx. 500m SW of Abbott Peak and 3 km NW of Mount Kosciuszko in the Kosciuszko National Park.
Origin
Named after Emmeline Freda du Faur (dob 16.9.1882 - dod 11.9.1935) who was one of Australias first female mountaineers and the first woman to climb Mt Cook in New Zealand in 1910. Source: Irwin S. Between Heaven and Earth The Life of a Mountaineer White Crane Press 2000.
