Glenbawn Dam (DAM), NSW Details
Description
Dam retaining the waters of Lake Glenbawn on the Hunter River. It is of rolled earth-fill and rock structure 2700 feet in length with a maximum height of wall of 251 feet. Completed in 1958.
Origin
The dam was named after a riverside property resumed for part of the storage area. (Maj.Rur.Dams.NSW. Dep. L&WC).
