History
Council at its meeting on 14 April 1998 resolved that this reserve should be named `Lions Club of Tahmoor - Neville Crawford Memorial Rose Garden`.
Description
A reserve on the corner of Remembrance Driveway and Progress Street at Tahmoor. It occupies Lot 1 of DP 262132.
Origin
The Lions Club of Tahmoor look after the reserve and established the rose garden. Neville Crawford first came to Tahmoor in 1956 and died in 1997. He was once the local postmaster and newsagent. He owned the land prior to its subdivision. He also has a lane named after him in Tahmoor. (Wollondilly Council letter dated 5 May 1998)
