Named by the Tarlinton and Sutherland families who settled the area in the 1860s.

Description

A swamp about 9 km west of Wandella.

Origin

Named after finding a round waterhole near the swamp that was always covered in ducks. (The Bega Valley Historical Society letter of 2 March 1999).
