Description
A watercourse about 3 km long rising at Oxford Road Ingleburn and flowing generally NNE for approximately 3 km to its confluence with Bunbury Curran Creek. The creek is substantially a grass lined channel.
Origin
The name honours Lachlan Macquarie Governor of New South Wales from 1809. In his Decade as Govornor Macquarie played a major roll in the development of NSW particularly the area that is now within the City of Campbelltown.
