Description
One of the cliff girt plateaus of the Budawang Range it is about 6.4km north west of The Castle.
Origin
Highest point on the heavily disected sandstone tablelands that go to make up the North Budawang Range. Named by bushwalker Colin Putt 1959 after a small tarn (water hole) on the plateau.
