History
Long standing name. Proposed by M Lawrence though the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group. Supported by Darkinjung Aboriginal Land Council Gosford Council Forests and NP&WS.
Description
A gully starting in Portion 13 of the Parish of Narara and flowing in a westerly direction to its point of confluence with Floods Creek in Portion 10. It is about 1.5 km in length and is situated in the suburb of Somersby.
Origin
The Hunter family farmed in this area for many generations.
