A beach 1.2km long extending from the village of Cabarita Beach north to the suburb boundary with Casuarina.

Place of many pipies (letter as above)

Origin

Coodjungburra tribe would collect pipies along the beach and feast on them to the west of Norries Head. The resulting midden has been cov- ered with sand for protection and signposted. (Cararita Beach Tourist & Progress Assoc Inc letter 28.2.2001)
