River Marker (HILL), NSW Details
Description
A hill. One of five man made hills collectively known as the Millenium Markers withiin Sydney Olympic Park. The hills are located at strategic points around the Park to provide orientation and Park identity. River Marker is situated 500 metres east of Silverwater Bridge and 2 kms west of Silverwater Marker.
Origin
Named by the Olympic Co-ordination Authority because of its proximity to the Parramatta River.
