Perennial stream rising on slopes of Sugarloaf and Tamerang Mountains and flows north east to its junction with Goonoo Goonoo near Glen Oak homestead.

The stream rises on the slopes of a mountain called Sugarloaf from its appearance.
Origin
Not traced. As the name comes from the descriptive name of the mountain it is of long standing. It has certainly been in use since 1870 as it appears on the 1874 county map.
