A reserve at the northern end of Ford and Scott Streets Muswellbrook and adjacent to the Hunter River.

Origin

Named in honour of the late Dr. Laurence Osborne (Yank) Rutherford who practised medicine in Muswellbrook for about 40 years. He was held in high esteem in the community and was the image of a typical country town family doctor.
