A city on the boundary between Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales about 10 km east south east of Canberra at the junction of Queanbeyan River and Molonglo River.
Meaning
Name taken from the river and said to mean clearwater (not verified) (Appleton; 1992). Also: clear water. (McCarthy. 1963).
