Description

Proclaimed a city in 1946 it is situated near the junction of Peel and Cockburn rivers on the New England Highway about 280 road miles north of Sydney and about 70 road miles south west of Armidale. It is served by the Main Northern Railway and Air Services.

So named after the Staffordshire town in which Sir Robert Peel (a British P.M.) represented in the House of Commons. (Information from Papers on Australian Place Names J.S. Ryan P. 54)

When I realized that, no individual step is hard in any process. Building this airport I'm standing in right now started with a guy writing the architectural plans on paper. That's not hard for him to do. Then laying the first beam isn't had. The whole thing is really hard.
