A reserve of 0.78 hectares situated at the corner of Galton Street and Hassall Street in the suburb of Smithfield.
Origin
The re-naming of the Park from Galton Park to Clarrie Atkins Park is to commemorate Mr Atkins who lived next door to the park and was well known in the local neighbourhood for attending to the Park. Mr Atkins was a well known identity in the community. DOB: 1931 DOD: 31.01.2009.
