History
Nominated by Ms Annie Nielson of WHaT Bush Care in response to the Councils community consultation regarding the naming of reserves.
Description
A reserve located on the northern side of Rebecca Parade near Reuben Street Winston Hills.
Origin
Named after the hill which was a legendary convict-cleared hill overlooking the Toongabbie convict hut settlement. Extensive and dangerous timberfelling of the escarpment had retained few large tall trees. (Sargeant D A `The Toongabbie Story` 1964) The hill is on the side of the reserve.
