Description
Lake connected with the Tasman Sea by a narrow passage. It is about 25 km in length and about 10 km in width being of irregular form with numerous bays and reaches. The entrance to the lagoon is about 23 kilometres south south west of Newcastle through the Swansea Channel and Lake Entrance.
