Appeared on first edition 1:100000 Orthophotomap as Mulga Dam although name never presented to the Board. Bogan Council confirmed on 28 July 1999 that the owners currently use the name Creek Dam.

A dam on Mulga Creek located about 9 km north-west of Gap Hill and about 19 km east of El Capitan Knob.

Origin
