Description

A nature reserve lying between Badajoz Road Cressy Road and Tura Road North Ryde. Located about 4km NW of Wallumatta Bay and 600m north of Field of Mars Cemetery.

Origin

A name of an aboriginal tribe living on the north side of Parramatta River. An aboriginal name. See Australian Dictionary of Dates by T.J. Heaton. (Wallumatta Walumeda Ref HRA Series1 Vol1 page160).
