A reserve fronting Dee Why Beach and the Strand in the suburb of Dee Why. The reserve runs from Dee Why headland for approx. 200m to Dee Why Surf Club.

Origin

In recognition of Ted Jackson who was part of one of the longest serving families in the area. He was a foundation member of Dee Why Surf Club and assisted the amateur Swimming Clubs in Dee Why. Former Shire Councillor Former Shire President and Founding Member of Dee Why RSL Club. DOB: 1.02.1921 - DOD: 19.07.2009.
