A neighbourhood about 2 km WNW of the Village Regentville and about 2.5km E by S of the town of Glenbrook. Boundaries within the Penrith Council area shown on map GNB3890.
Origin
Named after the Emu Plains home and vineyards of Leo Buring the well known wine grower and industry leader who died at his home Leonay on September 29th 1961 aged 85 yrs. (Place names & origins in Penrith Penrith City Council 1982).
