Description
A locality about 15 km north of Mudgee. Boundaries within the Mudgee Council area shown on map marked GNB3785.
Origin
In 1824 Robert Lowe magistrate of Bringelly was given a land grant of 2000 acres which he called Wilbetree. At the end of last century and the early part of this century a portion of the flats adjoining the Cudgegong River was leased to tenant farmers a small community was developed in the area which became known as Wilbetree Flat.
