History
Name suggested by Adrian Jackson in naming competition conducted in 1994 by Cattai Catchment Management Committee.
Description
A stream rising in Por 26 on the northern slopes of Maroota Ridge Maroota about 4.2 km east of Cornelia T.S. and flowing generally north then north west for 7.8 km into the Lower Half Moon Bend of the Hawkesbury River.
Origin
Named after Saul David Douglass one of the original settlers along the creek. The Douglass family cultivated along the creek for several generations.
