Description

A reserve about 1884 sq metres comprising Lot 67 DP758047. The reserve is situated in East Ballina between Cambridge Crescent and Prospect Street.

Origin

Named after the late Jan Moon who was the first social worker at the Ballina Hospital in 1972. She was well known for her activities in this area and was responsible for the planting of all the trees at the eastern end of the reserve. (dod February 2001) Source: D Moon
