Description
A neighbourhood about 1 km W of Sawtell.
Origin
In England the Bayldon family were well established with crest and castle-like stone home. In 1864 they migrated to the Bellinger River area introducing high quality dairy cattle. In 1871 William selected three more portions and here built Boambi House the first in Coffs Shire and a social centre with a piano. (Sawtell Hist. Society Inc.)
