MENAI - first called Bangor by Owen Jones a settler after his birthplace in Wales. Changed in 1910 Menai was a township opposite Bangor on the Menai Straits in Wales P 67. Infor. from Two Hundred Years in Retrospect Kurnell-Sutherland 1770-1970 Walker)
