Description
A reserve approx. 32 hectares in area comprising numerous Lot DPs following creek lines between the Main Northern Railway line and Bridgman Road in the suburb of Singleton Heights.
Origin
Commemorates the Nowlan family in particular Patrick Nowlan (dob 7.8.1859 dod 26.12.1942) who originally purchased the land in 1913 upon which part of the reserve is situated. Five generations of the family have since lived and worked on the land from that date until it was sold to Singleton Shire in 1981. Source: Ray Nowlan
