Swadling Park (RESERVE), NSW Details
Description
A reserve surrounded by Little Bay on the east side and Bay Road on the west side and Toowoon Bay to the north east. It is in the neighbourhood of Toowoon Bay.
Origin
Named after George Ernest Swadling (8.1.1865 - 30.3.1950) one of the original pioneers of Long Jetty with homestead grant from Tuggerah Lakes to the Pacific Ocean. Ranger/caretaker at Toowoon Bay Camping Ground for 33 yrs to 1946. 1925 - appointed as Special Constable. (Source: Helen Ambler and early letters from Erina Shire Council)
