Description
A gorge varying in depth up to 610 metres formed about 6 km from the head of the Clyde River and extending south for about 20 km to the junction of Pigeon House Creek and Clyde River it varies in width from 500 metres to over 1.5 kms in places. The Clyde River flows through the canyon which is bounded by huge cliffs reaching a height of over 152 metres in places.
