Description
A reserve in Stewart Street Port Macquarie.
Origin
Bertha York arrived in Port Macquarie in the early 1960s. She was responsible for planting of trees and shrubs at her own expense to assist in the beautification of this site overlooking Town Beach. Council ercted a sign Mrs Yorks Garden in recognition of her effort in 1968. She died in 1971.
