Description
A bluff on the side of Mount Tate. It lies on Great Dividing Range about 1 km SW of the summit of Mount Tate.
Origin
Named in honour of John F. Mann the exploring companion of the lamented Leichhardt and one of the founders and at present honorary secretary of the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia according to Richard Helm in 1893 published in Kosciusko: The Mountain in History by Alan E J Andrews pub 1991.
