A locality about 41 km E by N of Rouse Hill and about 44 km N of Kellyville. Boundaries within the Baulkham Hills Council area shown on map GNB3896
Origin
Leitenant-Colonel George Johnston owned land North of Castle Hill where he had supressed a convict mutiny. He planted an orange grove there which passed to his grandson who called it Annangrove in memory of his grandfather and his orchard. (K Anderson 1989).
